As said above,quick buy back will be worth it as I doubt they'll value that more than £150 in scrap value(not car value,just what salvage firms will pay).

It may need a VIC check due to age but again this is dependent on insurance companies interpretation,don't get hung up about it,it takes 10minutes and £41.

Unless the micras post 2001 it's a goner as well.
