Ok, i have an issue with my 53 reg mondeo tdci 130 6 speed estate.
I have replaced 2x boost hoses due to splits, also blanked off egr valve, and still the car seems to rev to the redline in 1st and 2nd gear, but once in 3rd or above goes flat around 2-2.5k revs. there are no faults registered once plugged in, and no eml on the dash. It seems like the torque limiters are coming in early, but i may be way off the mark.
Anybody had a similar problem, as the usual suspects have been eliminated.
