just got myself a nice little runner a ford escort 1.6 LX it's a 1996 model, at present it has a 5000 rds radio/tape unit and i want to change it over to a radio/cd unit, does the 6000 rds cd player fit straight in? or can anyone tell me of a compatible player. many thanks

Just noticed the unit is cd changer compatible so I take it you can buy a ford cd changer and hook this up, if so where does the unit fit and how easy are they to install.
