Surely if you had two identical cars, one with a 2.0 i4 and the other with a 2.0 Zetec, then there would not be much in shape of performance?

The i4 may well have 20bhp more, as you say, but the weight and the higher centre of gravity would make it almost on par as a Zetec.

I honestly like Zetec's purely from my earlier years with Fords. But Ive always admired the 2.3 i4's with ITB's, especially the Mk6 4x4.
