Remember lowering can in some cases do more harm than good, I.E one biggest misconceptions is that it can improve handling, when in fact it can ruin your geometry and cause tracking problems in some cases, a little is normally ok so long as it's not excessive, 30MM sounds alot to me, the ST out of interest is 10MM lower IIRC.
