just for the base its set me back thick end of £900, £400 over my initial estimate, , the timber is rollin at £900, the roof is gonna be 18mm chipboard, not ideal but due to the base i cant stretch to the treated plyboard, so just gonna clag a few tins of the felt glue all over, give it a good coating. then theres the hinges, roof felt, etc etc, i reckon in total its gonna cost around £2200ish? thats just to get the building up, water proofed and locked, then i want to insulate it all, plasterboard it, paint it etc, i think to get it totally finished, probs £2700ish, and thats for a 10ft x 30ft timber garage, the same size on the net is £3699 +vat + the base. so i think its gonna be worth it, reckon i might move in actually, hahaha.
