They are VERY good engines, yes when they are standard non turbo and in a heavy car a lighter turbo car will beat them, but you have to be a fucking retard to think that means the engine itself is bad!
LSD and a strong gearbox as standard too
that weird ! a guy around here used that engine in them small civics whatever shape they are called and had a t3 turbo on it it made 320bhp and BLEW UP THE SAME WEEK!
jamtec tuning did a car they got 13.6 at the pod which is quick but on the dual carriage ways it aint thatr wuick once its rolling...
vtecs ARRRRRGHHH there over rated for fuck sakes i leave these cars in a diesel bora!!! k series engine in a normal type r would be quick? so why is it thaat i raced plenty and non of them ever got past me i always gradually pull away from them in my remapped bora tdi!! i dont care what u say mate a k series engine in a lighter shape civic would be quick [what a mate currently owns] but not quck as my rs or quicker that a 350bhp evo that hj has lost to!!! i just dont see sense in doing it FOCK A VTEC!!!!!!!!!!!!!
