a was told wen a done mine that if u use 70% of the original car then u can use a diffrent shell and use ur own id, but a keeped the id that was on ma new car and just changed the engine number and relivent details then got a engineers report with pictures and sent these to dvla, so now a hav a g reg cosworth runnin in a k-plate shell,
