technically you should be on a Q plate too as you dont keep enough parts of the chaseur car to keep the necessary points to retain the ID.

however, you can legally do an engine swap, then over time replace every other componant with cosworth componants. Nothing in the DVLA rules stops you from slowly over time working on a car so that in the end nothing original identity is left. But if you do it all at once they get shirty
