vtec engine in mk4 escort
Been building a mk4 escort up and been thinking about engines.
Cvh are crap,
Rs2000 lump is to heavy.
Zetec turbo is good, but 1000£ for rods and piston plus management.
So thought is copy chip.
Been offered a 1.8 vti for 300 sheets.
The engine looms are seprate and managent is mappable with hondata.
And id have to make shafts to fit a mtx so thought sod it, go jap.
Views for and against please guys (regarding dimensions ect. )
