mine does the exact same mate and ive given up trying to find out why so ive left it and seems ok, ive changed the verniors, the aux pulley, the crank spocket, the belt and the tensioner and it still does it..

Just worked out why it may be doing it. The camshafts are 4x4 cams and the head is a 2wd head. Think I have read somewhere that a spacer is required for this.
I have read the 4x4 shafts are 5mm longer, but i cant work out how a spacer would make them shorter??
