the left block gives the factory figures and tollerances and they were WAY off!

there is still a little toe in on the n/s which could be gotten rid of with more accurate adjustment (assuming the track rod is not bent though that should have been picked up when the tracking was done).

i think the main problem is the camber though which is way off and non adjustible so something is either bent or broken.

i have heard of focus rs hub carriers bending, not sure on the st170 but i guess its a possibility. it will probably be hard to see if its bent unless its cracked.

probably best getting a salvaged strut from a breakers with top mount and swaping it over as thats an easy job and shouldn't cost too much and having the geometry rechecked. if it still isnt right then it must be the hub carrier. cheapest option for that is to get a complete hub/bearing/carrier (also known as knuckle) off ebay or from a breakers. again a simple bolt off, bolt on job but you will need to torke the hub nut upto 316 NM which is REALLY FUCKING TIGHT!!!

good luck sorting it though, well worth getting it fixed!
