Hi there...

At this very hour i am putting together my Zvh engine...

I am putting together the pistons, con rods etc. I am using brand new Focus Rs pistons and some fine used rods.

Last year i purchased a set of Focus RS Con rod bolts on eBay (or so i thought) The ones i received was for a 2 litre Zetec - part number:

151-6005

But there is no way theese are going to fit my rods. They are 10 mm shorter than the rod bolts i took out of the Focus Rs rods.

But from an old project i have a new set of ARP rod bolts for a Zetec 1,6 litre engine. Theese have the same length and thread as the original Focus rs on rod bolts.


Wil it be safe to use these with the tourque specs of the 2 litre ones?...
