hello everybody

my s2 running hearts and diamonds ecu has a strange boost problem basically it wasnt holding boost properly so i put it down to a weak actuator.
i had a new tt stage 1 turbo spare so i fitted that and went for a run but it was massivelly overboosting ,,so i adjusted actuator so that it only had about 1/4 of the hole preload and took it for another run,,
when you pull away it boosts ok but my crappy tim gauge says it boosting about 1bar,,then second gear and it still pulls well but again about 1bar,,,then 3rd gear and it seems to hesitate then in 4th it hits the overboost.
the car is standard apart from exhaust and dump valve and ive checked the wastegate arm and thats free and ive lubed the actuator rod so that moves freely

any one got any ideas as extending the rod should give me low boost and id like to get it running better before i get it rolling roaded
