Yes, the only trace would be at the incode part, but i think it would probably work out cheaper in the long run to just book it in at your local dealer tbh, if you were to book it in at the dealer wher i worked for example, they would charge 1 hours labour to remove the speed limiter, re-initialize it and test that its worked etc, they'd also still charge the same labour just to re-initalize it so you'd be no better off really, i would think most other dealers would be the same tbh.

Plus you'd have to recover the van to the dealer because it wouldn't start so that would probably be more hassle and expense.
