if your going to rebuild a 2.0l then i strongly advise using the 1.6 head which you can pickup cheap or even a 1.3l head if you can find one but i doubt that will be cheap, as itll increase your compression and give you more power, ive just rebuilt a 1.6l head and put it on a transit 2.0l 202 block pinto with a fr32 kent cam and everything renewed, has alot more response and go but cost me £300 total for head rebuild alone, im still using a vv carb so id imagine with a bit more money spent on decent carbs you would have a good flowing pinto with a decent amount of bhp for every day use, good luck with it
