If you are going to the states you will get a Chrysler Grand Voyager or similar and they have a bit more space.

In Europe you will get a Galaxy/Espace/similar and will struggle, but if you are only taking luggage to/from the accomodation/airport, one of you could take the cases in a taxi (and you can follow him so you don't get lost!)
