Hi and welcome, basically as said above, the KA is a good car and simple to live with, the engine is actually old but was revised for the KA (1.3 HCS) again providing it's looked after it will see you for miles of trouble free motoring. Haynes manuals are a must for every car you own really and at around £15 there a bargain! They also have a service schedule in them so if you were inclined you could also do your own servicing!
