Anybody got the details of this as I have a chap adament it is perfectly legal to have the car in his name but him have his mum insure it and him to then be a named driver despite his mum never setting foot in the car. Tried a freindly approach of saying that he shouldn't do it but his mums an instructer and says otherwise. If I'm wrong I'll wind my neck in and apologise.
