You may get away with 2 thou with an MLS gasket but tbh its a gamble, I bet when you get the block skimmed it will be more like 4-5thou out in the middle. As its 2wd and easy to have the bottom end out quickly I'd have the deck faced, at least you will know its right.
Well thanks for replying Martin its nice to get a reply from a reputable tuner so you know whats what, ill just wait on the news back about the head as its not in a good way to be honest, 1 slight crack in a strange place, sort of in the middle of the head face nearish valve seat and the flat area? how much to have the pistons done roughly ?
