watcha roger, when i attempted to fit on this gearstick, it sat further forward on the hole in the floor to the standard one,
the stabiliser and the linkage are reversed so cross each other under the car,
all so you have to rivet the rubber gaitor to the floor as it is in the puma and it mounts using a rubber mounting that you indeed have to drill new holes for near the hand brake if i remember rightly.



this photo shows the internals of a std on (left) to a puma one (right) (missing the bottom casing)
the std one has springs in to center it where as the puma ones do not come with this.
it is a lovely gear change with it fitted though and the reason why is it a shorter shift is the pivet point on the shaft has been raised.
idealy a merge of the 2 would see the perfect selector but im working on this soon enough
