i had the concept 600 on my evo, i had the intellistart fitted.

the avantguard is the concept 600 with the intellistart and smartwindws all included, its just cheaper to buy it in 1 go than in bits, but as you say the reason it isnt cat 1 aprooved is that it was never resubmitted with the intrellistart which will be the issue i suspect.
