I have had my escort for two years now, and rescently had to change the engine, The car seems to have the habbit of running fine from cold if i stop the engine every now and again it will play up,sounding tight when turning over or as if the batterys flat, how ever i leave it for harf an hour it strikes straight up.
To try and remidy this problem i have changed the starter motor, swapped the battery checked altenater Its now getting to the point were im going to scream and scrap the thing
And advice would be well taken on bored
