right i am using the td engine out of a 1996 escort lx, but using my diesel gearbox, power steering pump, alternator and wiring loom.
so now i am not getting fuel out of the pump i think due to the stop soleniod but this is my problem.
the stop soleniod under the protective plate has 3 wires like my wiring loom but when connected still no fuel.
the pump also has what looks like a stop soleniod on the front of the pump should i wire this up as well.
need help on this asap as wife is kicking my ass about van lying in bits over the drive

I have done this conversion a few times before the best thing to do is take the protective cover off your pump and remove the solenoid replace it with an old style start stop solenoid and run a live from the ignition strait through to it. the stop solenoid on the front of the pump is to adjust the fueling you should also have a plug on the 3rd injector i disconnect the solenoid on the front of the pump and change no3 injector you will have to adjust the pump timing to get it running spot on hope this helps you
