Right so I bought the new parts from the Scrappy for a tenner, I tried to take the old plate off the car but it's welded it's self to the clip that it connects to, I'm hoping I can remove the clip without ruining it, but it was getting dark so I thought I'd leave it for now. It's the one second from the right that's melted BTW, I noticed the one on the far right (driver's side) isn't connected to anything, should this be connected to something (could this be for the auto boot opener?).

When removing the inner panel I noticed there's a lot of rot down there so I sprayed it with a good helping of Tetraseal, I hope this won't get worse now?
