Carbs are the std rover HIF6 so 1 3/4", on a 3.5 with std internals about 155bhp, but 210lbft, my dads 3950cc cross bolt puts out around 240bhp(modded heads/cams/ignition curve) but over 300lbft, and was 220lbft at 1800rpm, on HIF6.
With a 3.6 cossie diff and presumably std dia wheels will be seriously under geared, my pops runs a 3.14:1, and even that feels a bit low at times.
Lower gearing doesn't equate faster acceleration in this, as the gearchanges have to be "booked in advance", seriously the boxes are that slow at changing, both the R380 and the LT77 as used on the v8 rover, very strong though.
Soundtrack is awsome though, mate has a stretched MGB GT, with a citroen 2cv6 body on it, running no balance pipe and just a cherry bomb each side, pure heaven!!
