yes, when we got back from our final run the brakes had gone, and the ABS warning light was on,
After a little investigation, the wiring along the inner wing is burnt, the abs wheel sensor plug is burnt, the abs pump itself was red hot, and the wiring to it also very hot,
the reason the brakes went and the light came on was the fact the brake fluid in the resovoir was practically boilling, and the Power brake pump could not make pressure as the fluid was so thin and the pump was so hot,
the light comes on when pressure is low to tell you the brakes will not work when the accumulator runs out of pressure so you have a few brake applications left before they go completly,
As she cooled down and the fluid and pump came back to life, the brakes returned to normal,
So take careful note of page 3 of your work report, which will advise you on a few things you need to do before hard use, as she is very fast now, but not quite the complete package to abuse just yet.
The temporary heat sheild we use when cars turn up without them, simply wasnt good enough this time, as we had a motorway run, then straight into some traffic,
