I expect when James spoke with you we had just come back from mapping as that was when we first lost the brakes, therefore he hadn't investigated any further than a look under the bonnet at the side of the road in the rain.

After further investigation, the ABS wiring is burning through as is the main harness down the drivers side chassis. This is wholly due to the fact your not running a turbocharger heatshield. However, as the car has been left to cool, James did mention earlier that braking effort has returned. Regardless, it needs serious further investigation.
