with gentle/ish prying as the pulley would probably have snapped or bent with much more force a few knocks some wiggles a bash with the g clamp idea loads of wd40

and it still didnt come off!

wasnt too worried because the timing belt was done last year in april anyway so has only covered 2000miles but since i was changing the head thought id go ahead with it.

anyway she popped off in the end and ill be fitting new tensioner as well as a belt this time!
