Hi all this is my first post here and was wondering if you could help me with my engine in my rs1800 converted SI

just recently my car has started smoking.. quiet bad

it smoke like white smoke on idle and when i rev it a cloud of blue smoke, although after 10 mins of driving the car it seems to ease of slighly.

there dosent seem to be any water going just alot of oil

there isnt any lack in power either

Also if it comes to the point where i need a new engine, is the escort GTI engine the same? as i seen mines 128BHP the escorts 115BHP?
