Thanks for the extra replies guys. ref: Paul16v Yes it is silicon hose. Was fitted on the inlet/fuel rail when I bought it. I was thinking of replacing with braided anyway, but why do you ask Paul?

I thought it looked like silicone water hose, petrol will perish silicone hose very quickly mate it is not supposed to have fuel running through it, I would deffo replace it with some propper high pressure fuel hose before letting petrol through it or running the car
