my choice too, i work in a salt factory and mine very often get soaked in brine, soda ash, slaked lime etc, i never clean them, just brush the worst off when they get really bad.
ive had this pair for over 2 years now and they are just starting to open up round the front where the sole comes up to the boot. too comfy to change though,
ive got another pair waiting for when they do fall to bits as they were on offer a while back with a free tote bag so i took advantage.
