Little update, not too much. Finally got the tool to change my track rod so did that...

Old track rod...

Threadlock on the old one...

Fitted...

Decided to service the car while I was at it. I tried to take the oil filter off using one of these...

What a load of crap! Couldnt get a grip on the filter at all. In the end used these gloves to get it off...

They worked perfectly

Anyway while I was at it I decided I was fed up of squeely brakes so have a little tidy up.
Took them apart, got the pads out and give both sides a lick of paint...

The pads had some rough edges, so this was all filed away...
Before...

After...

Then greased up the sliders...

And the pins...

Greased up the pads...

And then stuck it all back together

Much tidier I think

Timing belt got changed, had a phonecall which went abit like this...
Dropped the car off at 8am for a timing belt.
8.30am I had a phonecall...
"Hey it's Gwyn, yeh your car was trying to commit scuicide"
"What you mean?"
"Well the camshaft pully is made of plastic and had a crack in it, as soon as I put a little bit of pressure on it, it collapsed and snapped"
"Niiiiiceeee"

Whos fecking idea was it to make a camshaft pully out of plastic? Jesus christ.
He gave me to pully and told me "Be Proud Of That"

Oh how I love my car.

On the other hand in relation to my EML.
Diagnostics show that the catalyst isnt being efficiant. The cat has only been on there a year after the old one started rattling. Bearing in mind the EML has been on for ~4 years I think the post cat sensor is knackered.
I have a spare front sensor, just need to find out of the front one will fit the back
