When the car is warm, is there any heat come out the blowers?
Does the temp. guage sit higher than normal?
Also you can check the oil filler cap or water expansion bottle for signs of water mixing with oil (mayoniase).
These would suggest head gasket problems.

But is it smoke or steam? As Bailes says it could just be water lying in the exhaust.
