yeah youll save £300 a year in fuel but gain £400 a year in servicing plus the co2 emitted in making the replacement parts probably way exceeds the co2 saved by having the stopstart feature.

Its another good ploy to slow down the roads and force us to have newer cars more often as make them even more complicated and hard to service. think about how annoying a 10 year old stopstart car would be on and old ford the engine would start as the lights go to red again
Well i hope Land Rover have uprated the start motor then or it will be a consumable item, it would piss me off the engine stopping then stating every 5 minutes, there is only one way to save fuel and thats adjust the nut on the steering wheel
