Had this built for me by GEARS http://www.gears.tv/ and it's done just under 1000 miles since being built. It comes with a rear starter motor and wiring.

It's a rear starter escort gti iB5 gearbox (larger bearings) and the gears are a combination on puma and st gears to give close ratio gears

1st 3.15:1
2nd 2.04:1
3rd 1.41:1
4th 1.11:1
5th 0.88:1
Final drive 3.84

The diff is a rs turbo lsd that has been uprated to works specification by GEARS to increase the preload from 60 120 Nm.

The whole combination works really well and the gear changes put you right in the powerband. The diff is great and manages the power very well with no wheel spin at all (apart from when it's wet).

As an indicator with 175/50/R13 tyres and a 7000rpm gear change the top speeds in each gear are 34, 53, 77, 97, 123
