I have a pinking issue above 4500rpm...
Need some help to try and find out whats going on.
Heres some specs and what I have done so far.
NA YB, 10.8:1 CR, running super unleaded, NGK BCR8ES plugs with 0.7mm gap. AFR is 12:1 on WOT so not running lean up high.
Compression test has 130psi on all cylinders (on a cold engine with throttle open)
The only way to get it to rev high without pinking is to retard all in advance on WOT to 24 degrees which is no good.. should be at 30-32.
Megajolt ignition with edis 4.
Anyone any suggestions as I'm now stumped..
