would a dodgy crank position sensor cut out the fuel pump or just the spark?
all fuses were good but i think ill switch round/replace the relays under the glove box (ford yellow top 40 amp)
can i borrow some from the fusebox under the bonnet so i can eliminate the relays as being the problem?
Failing that i may have to borrow a loom off my brothers mk1 escort, same engine and loom just that some wires are adapted for the escort so the map sensor will have to be moved
