Recently been having a few problems with the car revving itself and running really lumpy until 10 minutes into the journey,
Was advised that it could possibly be the throttle position sensor so today round my brothers i replaced the whole throttle body and position sensor with a spare one he had (was exactly the same, red sensor on a 2wd throttle body)
Went to start the car and it turns over but doesnt start, took out one of the plugs and it initially sparks just once then nothing. also cant hear the fuel pump running but ill have to confirm this tomorrow
Is this a dodgy immobiliser problem? as my brother has had problems with it previously

where would i take the car to have the immobiliser removed?
