Matt, top pic. blue thin wire is alternator tell tale I think. Has the same connector on the end at cvh engine temp sensor i.e. just a insulated female bullet.
The thicker wire usually has a ring connector on and is the alternator feed which you 10 or 13mm nut on to the alternator. On mine it does anyway.

Can't help with the dash plugs.
