Repaired mine about a month ago or so. It`s not very difficult. You have to take out from the car the column. Once you have it out you have to take out the internal shaft. Once the shaft is out you change the two plastic bearings with care to put in the same position as the old ones. The upper plastic bearing has a locating tab in one side that engages in the external bar of the column.Put a little grease between the new bearings.
With all mounted refit the column to the car and you are done.
