since i'm getting custom sized wiseco pistons made up (already paid for just need to confirm ratio).
what would be the best ratio to aim for?
i thought an 8:1 would give me plenty of scope for bigger power later on, but an 8.5:1 would give a little more power for boost.
i don't really want to drop any lower as i don't think i'll be on the edge of sensibility anytime soon, but will have eagle rods, area six cams/springs, arp rod bolts and arp main studs too.
just after an opinion on anyone who has done this as all searches vary from 8:1, 8.2:1 and 8.5:1.
i will be in touch with an engine builder to do the boring out of the block etc.
but only whe pistons arrive in the next four to five weeks.
only got a 2.5BAR map sensor, so limiting factor of 21psi ish boost for the near future.
