hey peoples

got up and down play in my steering solumn
noticed a plastic grey round bearing thingy breaking up and falling into footwell.
ive bought a column repair kit which consists of 2 grey plastic rings.
they go at the bottom of the column,just by the mount i think.

if you understand what the hell im on about,
how easy is it to fit them?
do i have to remove column and fit from top or bottom or what?
