I use a Dewalt DC988 everyday and cant fault it for a hand drill, just got a Li-ion battery aswell and quite impressed with it. If you are wanting bigger drill SDS drill you are better off with a Bosch but I prefer Dewalt's for the smaller drill/drivers.
