Msi boards are normally pretty good... as craig says you need the FSB to be set to 333 and multiplier to 6 this is PROPPER easy on an MSI board.. just go into the bios setup and change the FSB speed to 333 (or higher if it will allow) and adjust the multiplier accordingly.

What the rough prices on MOBO's and processors at the moment ? It dont need to be heavily specced just used for browsing the web etc
MSI motherboards are arround £40+vat processors.. 2.8 cellery pro about £55+vat..
You will more than likely need a new case too cheap-o ones are arround 20+vat (inc power supply)
oh you will also need the newer style DDR ram if you are using old SD ram ATM
512Mb was about £45+vat last time i looked
