well after an mot fail! on a few things my other half took it all apart today, and he is a bit confused with what the mot man has said?
as when he was looking around he can only find 3 bad parts that need looking at,(pics to follow) and not the whole floor as suggested by mr mot! also mot says that the offside seat belt anchorage is really corroded?? but we cant see it?? nor can we find the really bad corrosion on the subframe mountings??
have a look at these pics, and if poss some advise to how bad this really is? as my other half thinks not so bad and mr mot is lazy and not looking right!
ok so this is of the drivers side front seat bolt thing
bit holeeee! but im sure can work with it not so bad underside
and this is just to the right of the go go pedal and down a bit
(also in this pic going off track abit, we found a button thing? well it springs back when pushed and was mounted onto the plastic kick panel any ideas? havent taken dash out yet as looks like it goes up there?)
ok now this one is of the inside looking out of the drivers side wheel arch at the very bottom, other side is good and looks like a bung of some sort need welding in??
passanger side one looks like rust but its just some yellow stuff still nice and solid this side?(she says for now!!

this is how the drivers side should look
you can see that at some point someone has jacked it up on the drivers side on the floor!!!?? so will need a bash!
but i think on the plus side my dad and my partner should be ok with trying to save it for me,
will look at the subframe mounts better tomoz.
but was was mr mot man on about, with the seat belt corrosion?? as both sides are good just the drivers seat bolt bit, also no mention on the mot of the other holes? should there be?
big question is, is it really that bad???
any comments welcome, i have read a few threads now and am ready for the good and bad
