The fastest ST225 in South Africa runs a 12.8sec 1/4 mile the guy spent over R100 000 or 10 000pounds on the motor to me that is not worth it .... I'd rather go with the cossy motor
*The thing is I can buy a cosworth motor with 500hp+ relatively easily and it will be reliable with no software issue, offcourse fitting it to my ST and making it work with the ECU and gearbox will be the difficult part*
That is why I was thinking of just buying everything e.g. motor, gearbox, wiring loom and rwd suspension from a cosworth. Stripping out the focus and just fitting the Cosworth suspension motor gearbox to the focus. this will eliminate allot of problems!*If there is a ECU or management system available that can get the cosworth and ST's ECU's to work together that will save me allot of time as I will not have to replace the wiring loom*Am I making sense or talking allot of bullshit ??? please guys with experience on conversions like these give me your 2c
