From experience I wouldn't. I ran an XR3 as a daily drive and the novelty of it did wear off after a few months. Not a great car to drive everyday and it got alot of attention when parked up which used to worry me. It was infact broken into about 5 weeks of being on the road. I'm now smoking around in a MK6 Escort RS2000 and it's bloody cracking, everything electric, very comfy Recaro seats, everything works and not too bad on fuel either.
