check the oil cap for any signs of white creamy deposits but I very much doubt its oil burning off as that would stink and be a blue colour, as boost mad said, condensation in the exhaust if your only doing small trips water builds up and sits inside the boxes, does it do it more in cold weather? you probly wont even notice it when the weather starts to get warmer!
