was running standard compression with 1.8 bar max boost on greens.
took the head off at the weekend and found number 2 piston had melted and part of the bore. I realise that perhaps this was a bit too much boost for the spec but this is the way the previous owner had set it up.
so i plan to rebuild using lower compresion say 7.2:1, BD10's, flowed head and fuelling with greys and a live map chip.
